Our site has lately been subject to misuse.
Especially the demo installation has been abused to place spam. In fact, about every 5 to 10 seconds, a new spam entry has been created in the database. I’ve taken measures to prevent this and hope the demo system is usable again. Please report any new problems here.

is it possible that the CVS has been misused as well? I am a new user to videoDB and I have downloaded videoDB after you posted your entry to the blog. I could install the software and it works great, but the tool to fetch EANs from dvdb.de does not work.
Or is this just a bug because the might have redesigned their site?

Hi, I am having problems with my videoDB, I have version 3.2 installed. It worked really well for a long time, but now there’s something wrong with the IMDB search for movie titles. It shows me completely different titles than I searched for! Plus, when I go to select a cover, it can’t find anything on the google search. I am thinking I have database issues or something? Please help, cause I love this “program”!
I have the same problem. Image searches no longer work and IMDB searching seems wonky at times.
Did you post these problems in the developers mailing list? Did you try upgrading to the latest CVS version?
